The 2nd Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, which was held on November 23, 2006,
brought more than 1500 spectators to the downtown area of Williams, Arizona.

Tree Height was 38'
25,000 LED lights
800 ornaments

This years tree was selected from the very top of Bill Williams Mountain.  On
November 14, 2006, the tree was cut down and transported to 2nd Street & Route
66.  It took a crew of 10 men to preform this task, in which they started at 6:00 am
and the tree was standing erect in its location by 5:00 pm.  This mission was
completed by employees from the Grand Canyon Railway, City of Williams, City of
Williams Police Department and Arizona Public Service.
